So this in interesting

So i think i figured something out. If i look at the piece of paper this is drawn on at the angle at which i was looking when i drew it, the proportions look pretty right. Doesn't look skewed. Only when i scanned this in did i see how screwy it looks. Then i took the paper, and held it up straight, perpendicular to my gaze. and it looked screwy. Print it out and try it for yourself, lolz

Gimp is Good!

so i thought GIMP was totally gimped, but as i've forced myself to use it, i am finding it to be quite solid. never crashed yet. only time i lost work was when i had a project half way done and decided to try to run a directX game in Wine. actually that was the first time that the computer has actually done a real FREEZE, although the music from remix.nin.com kept playing until the end of the song it was on. serious freeze, couldn't even CtrlAltBackspace out of it! but that was not GIMP's fault.
never did get that game to work in Wine, piece or directX garbage anyways. tried it on XP, worst game i ever played.

trying to copy

close your right eye and draw. so weird! this drawing is ink, left eye only, right hand, freeflow, just started and went for it. no pencil, no trying. just looked at the reference image, drew some lines. looked at the reference image, drew some lines. somehow the proportions all came out so damn close, why can that eye do that...?

and steal tom's sleeves
They never wash themselves, either.
